4 out of 5 stars Golf cart clock   July 12, 2010
Rita A. Immoor (Ft. Myers, Florida, USA)
I have had this same clock for almost 2 years mounted on my golf cart. My husband had another brand that gave up. We were delighted to find it on Amazon. It is super neat to know the temperature when on the course.

Great clock. Good for travel or to put in a car. Good price for a combination atomic clock with date and thermometer readings. I have 3 of them.

1 out of 5 stars The worst alarm clock I have ever owned.   February 25, 2010

First off, you need to be a rocket scientist to get through the instructions enough to get the proper time zone to show up. Then once you've figured that out and set the alarm, it's beep is so quiet that you are lucky if it wakes you up at all. If it does by chance wake you up, the supposed snooze button shuts the alarm off until the following day. So forget getting 'five more minutes' via the snooze.

As my title says, this is the worst alarm clock I have ever owned and am looking to replace it asap.

2 out of 5 stars Snooze...an ongoing investigation   February 8, 2010

So I bought this clock to replace one of my beloved Brookstone travel clocks. Our apartment was pretty crappy at the time but in the living room, the clock synced up fast as lightning which made me very impressed. The clock was so easy to set up that I had 'er up and running in less than 15 minutes.

However, the real showstopper happened when I tested the alarm. The snooze repeats itself every five minutes as the manual said, but one can only do it for two rounds. How bad is that I mean come on! Technology these days!

So what happened, the next afternoon I went to my local drugstore and got a refund for this *** of a *****. I love the nice flip and I love to snooze but if I can only do it for two rounds, it's pointless!

4 out of 5 stars Tough and accurate little clock   December 8, 2009

I have had my clock for 2 years now. It is running off the original batteries. In the winter time with have power outages and I am always on time because my clock is accurate. I have left it in my truck on hot days. Dropped it many times and even dropped things on it. I lost it in my couch for awhile and it is still working.
I agree that the manual is confusing and it may not be displaying the proper time when you get it. I don't really have an issue with the lighted face sticker because I know that a constantly lit face would really eat up the battery life. Many times I have reached for this clock in the night and hit the button lighting up it's face and found out not only what time it is, but also the temperature.
The look of this clock, is that it is cheaply made and not sturdy. I didn't think much of it when I bought it, now I think it is the best clock I have ever owned. It folds up with a protective cover or fold it into a standing position (I know! It's like a transformer! How cool is that.)
One of the best features of this clock is that it resets itself every night at midnight. You never have to reset it. I check it with my computer every now and again and it is always right on.
